Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Hong Kong 2026

Early list, not yet ranked by diners · 0 votes so far

Hong Kong's fine dining list is a roll call of chefs, and most of them cook far from home. Vicky Cheng is the local name, with two rooms at The Wellington: Wing for contemporary Chinese and VEA for his Chinese x French counter. Guillaume Galliot cooks French at Caprice over the harbour, Richard Ekkebus takes the dairy out of French cooking at Amber, and Hideaki Sato gives Ta Vie its Japanese soul. All three of those rooms hold three Michelin stars.

The rest have travelled further. Antimo Merone brings Naples to Estro, Eric Räty brings Finland to Arbor, Ricardo Chaneton brings Venezuela to MONO, Barry Quek brings Singapore to Whey, and Mauro Colagreco brings seafood led French cooking to Plaisance. Hansik Goo carries the name of founder Mingoo Kang, Cristal Room serves chef Pic's signatures from the 44th floor of Gloucester Tower, Lung King Heen keeps Cantonese cooking at the Four Seasons, and BELON's Mina Güçlüer cooks modern French on Elgin Street.

Nearly all of them sit within a short walk of each other in Central. This is an early list, opening for diner votes, and positions cannot be bought.
