  • we were here for celebration. before the dinner, i started off the night by having cocktail here first. i sat at the balcony and loved the vibes while seeing people walking outside. then watched the sky gradually turned dark. i actually wanted to try the charcoal grilled steak which i saw it very tempting from the social media, but didn't find it on the menu. so lastly we picked the set and to add its signature pigeon a-la-carte. food was lovely and they served at the right pace one by one. when the sky turned completely dark it's lit with the building lightings which was quite romantic. of course you have to endure the heat when it's getting to summer now. indeed the pigeon left the most memory with us, the second best was the chick with pot rice. finally the canelé was good too, with the right texture both outer and inner.

  • Prestige tasting menu is very worth it, although we changed the pigeon for the chicken (duh). The timing between dishes was not long, felt very timely. The corn amuse bouche was delicious. The onion tart banging. Cod was the easily the highlight, cooked beautifully and the peas were delicious. Don’t sleep on the cod. Everything else was decent. If you get the mapo tofu dish just be aware it’s very spicy, I liked it but it’s not for everyone for sure. The bread would be nicer if it was hot though

  • We were extremely disappointed with our experience at Louis. First, we were never informed that some menu items carried an additional surcharge. This should have been clearly explained by the staff before ordering, not discovered later. The biggest issue, however, was the service. A whole roast chicken was brought to our table, presented to us, and we were even invited to take photos of it. After we took the photos, the staff took the chicken away and served it to the table next to us. We could clearly see those guests eat the very same chicken while we continued waiting. About 30 minutes later, the staff came back and told us that our chicken was only just being prepared. By that point, we had already waited far too long and decided to leave. In the end, we paid HKD 2,100 for four Cokes, bread, a broccoli appetizer, and a meal that we never received. We left the restaurant hungry. That is simply unacceptable for a restaurant that claims to offer a premium dining experience. Good food and a beautiful interior cannot make up for such poor service, lack of communication, and complete disregard for the guest experience. Unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we have had in Hong Kong, and we would not return or recommend Louis. P.S. We have attached the photo we took.

  • Glad to have the chance to explore here on my friend’s birthday, the service is impressive especially the live show is amazing! We can interact with the singers, what a wonderful might! Thank you Jovy the waitress here for showing the hospitality, definitely professional! I like the vibe here and everything.
