Tried several Michelin fine dining restaurants in Hongkong and Amber is best!! (visited on the 27th of May) Also all dishes are dairy-free. Which is a great option for lactose intolerance parties. I highly recommend Amber ! All the dish is really tasty! And I really mean ‘All’. For me, the most memorable dish was the Kinmedai and the Firefly Squid which was served in the Kitchen :)

One of the absolute best experiences I've had with my family. We decided to go celebrate a birthday, so 4 of us went for dinner. We initially went there expecting to have a very fancy meal to celebrate this occasion. We had high expectations already. We decided to go with the "Full Amber Experience" menu and it's an absolute EXPERIENCE that you're getting! This isn't just eating food, it's an actual whole experience that clearly was crafted to make the 7 course meal an adventure. You get to go to the kitchen and eat at the chef's table for one of the courses which made the rest of the meal even better knowing how things work behind-the-scenes. We ended up spending 4 hours there and at no time did we feel we were sitting and waiting for the next dish. We were shocked after 3 hours because it didn't feel like we'd been there so long and that's what I mean about the "experience". I couldn't imagine eating for more than 3 hours, but this really wasn't just about the food, it was the conversations between dishes, it was the "did you notice the crispiness inside" conversations and most importantly the "wow, I am going to remember this dish for the rest of my life" memory that all 4 of will have forever. The staff is extremely nice and jovial despite all our dietary restrictions and I particularly liked how they got so excited seeing how much we were enjoying ourselves with every dish that was served. Amber is definitely the place I'm going for any special celebrations or just wanting to create a memorable experience with my loved one.

Rather than relying on theatrical presentation, the restaurant earns admiration through its accumulated technique, clear culinary philosophy, and unwavering attention to detail.

I visited alone in September 2025 and had the vegan tasting menu with the non-alcoholic drink pairing. I can only say it was a fantastic experience—from the excellent service and superb drink pairings to the wonderfully artistic and delicious food. It was truly a special experience, and I am grateful to have had the chance to enjoy it.
