An exceptional dining experience at Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic. The restaurant beautifully combines refined French gastronomy with elegant Baccarat-inspired interiors, creating one of the most sophisticated dining atmospheres I’ve experienced in Hong Kong. The dining room itself is stunning, with crystal chandeliers, mirrored details, and panoramic harbour views that make the entire experience feel luxurious yet intimate. Service throughout the meal was impeccable, attentive, polished, and highly personalized from start to finish. The tasting menu was incredibly thoughtful and technically impressive, with dishes that focused on layered flavors and delicate balance rather than excessive presentation. Standout courses included the Cadoret oyster with caviar, Les Berlingots ASP with Comté fondue, Brittany blue lobster, Brittany red mullet, and the yellow chicken with smoked sauce à la diable. The wine and beverage pairings were also beautifully curated and complemented the menu perfectly. Desserts and petit fours provided a graceful ending to the meal, completing an experience that felt artistic, elegant, and deeply refined throughout. Easily one of the most memorable fine dining experiences I’ve had in Hong Kong.

The meal started impressively but went downhill to just average after course by course. For my birthday, dessert came without a "happy birthday" touch which have mentioned when making the booking. The manager totally forgotten till we remind him. Worse, the waitress poured hot water into my sparkling water, then simply took the glass away—no apology, and wait 10 minutes to replace the glass. Disappointing for a special occasion and the price paid. Not worth for a Michelin Star.

Second to none craftsmanship - dishes were thoughtfully designed, beautifully sculpted and calibrated to highlight particular parts of the flavor palette. Servers weren't the best communicators but were enthusiastic and present. Classic James Bond type setting.

Cristal Room by Anne-Sophie Pic is a stunning fine dining experience with exquisite French cuisine that truly shines. The food is superb—the Cadoret oysters blew me away as the first dish, so fresh and flavorful, and the venison was my first time trying it; it was incredibly impressive, tender and perfectly cooked. Honestly, every dish was outstanding and beautifully presented. That said, the service could be improved. Even in our private room, staff were often absent when we needed refills or assistance, which felt a bit inattentive for this level. Also, as the entrance door couldn’t be opened from outside without help—when I stepped out to the toilet once, there was no one there to assist me to come back, which was inconvenient, I stood outside for a few minutes to wait….!
