Wonton noodle is also called “Sai Yung” with a literal meaning of tiny confederate rose in Cantonese. Be it the blue-and-white china bowl, tempting smell of egg noodle or the calming cup of tea, wonton noodle is a perfect way to appreciate traditional Guangdong culinary art in different senses. You will see wonton noodle everywhere in Hong Kong, but you can find the genuine flavor only at Mak

The service was alright, my server answered the questions I had regarding the food but after the second question he kinda just laughed at me. Also it felt like I was being rushed out as the second I finished my dumpling the sauces and condiments were taken off my table like I did something wrong. The food itself was decent, noodles were cooked well and the broth was great (without the vinegar); dumplings were also pretty good but I couldn’t tell which one was which when I was eating it. I was extremely hungry so it tasted pretty good, but it wasn’t special or anything.
3.0Sai Nannapaneni· 3 weeks agogood noodle spot 🍜 $54 hkd for shrimp and pork dumpling noodles. the portion is smaller compared to other restaurants and noodles are very al dente. the dumplings are well made and the broth is subtle but delicious. service was fast and kind. would not call this a ‘must try’ but a good spot in central for some classic dishes!
4.0elisa· 10 months agoA reliable stop in Sheung Wan rather than a destination in its own right. The mushroom noodles were solid and well made, if not particularly memorable, and the seasonal vegetables did the job. Service was professional and direct — efficient without any fuss. Good for a quick, decent bite in the neighbourhood. Don’t go in expecting to be wowed and you won’t be disappointed.
4.0Paul Osswald· 5 months agoA very go go go kinda spot and pricier than hole in the walls but based on location, I'm not surprised. Overall good food and good spot to stop at for noodles, wonton, brisket and the like. Everything is made to order and quick to arrive. This place is a chain as well - not the only location.
