We had lunch at Chaat today and it completely blew us away. We ordered the oysters, lamb tandoori, fish curry, and butter chicken curry—and every single dish was absolutely stellar. We knew the reputation here was good, but the food was unexpectedly amazing. To top it off, the service was incredibly friendly and never felt pushy. A really fantastic overall experience. Highly recommend!

Michelin Star well deserved for this Indian restaurant that has inpeccable food, atmosphere and service. Kudos to Uncle Raj and Sommelier Amit who made us feel so much at home explaining each dish and wine at its tasting menu. Am attaching the details to avoid repeating the names, it is well described in the menu which were beyond words. Topping it off with a mini restaurant tour and unbeatable views of Hong Kong, we had to commend their consistent passion in their craft, food is one thing but the staff puts the real icing on the cake. Chaat was an outstanding experience and easily one of the most memorable meals we had in Hong Kong. The atmosphere was flawless, 5 out of 5, elegant, warm, and special without feeling stiff. The service was also a perfect 5 out of 5. Vivek and Faiz were exceptional. Vivek gave excellent recommendations and clearly knew the menu inside and out. We should have followed his guidance even more closely. Faiz was incredibly generous and attentive, and kept bringing us masala chai on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food overall was excellent. Everything we had was fantastic except for the lamb biryani, which was the only dish I would not order again. The butter chicken was excellent, the lamb curry was amazing, the naan was fantastic, and the true star of the meal was the Burrata spinach curry, unbelievably delicious. If I were ordering again for two or three people, I would go with the butter chicken, the lamb curry, the samosa tarts, the Burrata spinach curry, one garlic naan, and one basmati rice. That was more than enough food for the three of us, and we were completely full by the end. What really makes Chaat shine is the combination of atmosphere and service. The food is also very good, but the hospitality and ambiance make the experience feel truly special. Also, special thanks again to Vivek and Faiz for making the night such a great one. If the manager’s promise still stands, I hope Vivek got his 25 percent raise and Faiz got his promotion.

We have been meaning to try Chaat since it opened and finally managed to get a table here for dinner on my wife's birthday. The food and service were excellent. We were well looked after by Amit and Soni who advised us on the flavour and preparation of the dishes. All the dishes were superb with the Basil Nimbu Prawns a definite highlight. We will happily return.
