  Pretty nice spot to have some seafood BBQ. Prawns, lobster, barramundi, calamari… a good variety of fish and kebabs too. It includes salad and a choice of french fries/baked potatoes or rice as a side. The spot feels trendy and romantic, with a direct view of the ocean. A local recommended it as the best bbq on the island and it did not disappoint. The service is pretty friendly and attentive as well. We had Sahlan as our waiter and he was super nice. Thank you!

  We had such a great evening at Scallywags on Gili Trawangan. The location right on the beach is amazing, especially at night with the cozy lights and relaxed vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. The drinks were perfectly cold (exactly what you need after a warm day on the island!) and the food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Definitely one of our favorite spots on Gili T. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxed beach dinner with great service and even better food! Hans & Angelique

  Good, fresh food with a range of Western & Asian dishes plus the BBQ option. We went for the Mahi Mahi with teriyaki sauce, spaghetti Bolognese and burgers. Unfortunately the beef burger had run out but we tried the chicken burger which was delicious. The mojito was well assembled with ideal ratios of ingredients. The mint leaves were kept large enough not to get sucked up the straw (a particular bugbear of mine when they are chopped too small) and the portion was decent for the price. Nice atmosphere and friendly, effective staff. The next morning all of us are feeling well, no sign of tummy upsets. I would return if we were staying here again. Thanks Scallywags.

  Scallywag is definitely worth visiting if you love seafood. The king prawns were the highlight—fresh, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The staff were attentive and quick to help whenever we needed anything, which made the dining experience even better. I also loved the fresh salad bar, a nice addition alongside the grilled seafood. Everything came together for a really enjoyable meal, and I’d happily dine here again. 🦐🌴
