Best Restaurants in Senggigi

Senggigi is Lombok's original resort strip, and its restaurants stretch up the west coast from the main road to Sire Beach. Dapur Ina is the one locals point you to: a kampung style warung a few minutes from the beach, where Ina and her husband cook ayam taliwang, sate Rembiga and whole snapper over charcoal, served under the trees. Asmara Restaurant lights its garden with candles and moves between Indonesian and international dishes, and Pasta Pojok keeps the main strip fed with homemade pasta and wood fired pizza.

The resorts hold the views. Senja, at Sheraton Senggigi Beach Resort, sits by the sea with Indonesian and pan Asian dishes, Qerang at Qunci Villas faces the water on Mangsit Beach, and Kokok Pletok at Hotel Tugu Lombok, well north on Sire Beach, puts a fifteen metre thatched roof over lotus ponds. Square Restaurant & Lounge in the Senggigi Square complex handles groups and dietary menus. This is an early list, opening for diner votes, and positions cannot be bought.
