Sea View Tables in Lombok

Lombok faces Bali across the strait on one side and the open Indian Ocean on the other, so a table with a view is never far away. These are the places where the water is part of the meal. The west faces Bali. On Gili Air, Mowie's puts beanbags on the sand looking at Mount Agung, and Mama Pizza's original dining room looks out to the beach. In Senggigi, Senja is named after the colour of the sky as the light goes, with tables out by the sea, Qerang sits on Mangsit Beach, and Kokok Pletok looks over lotus ponds to the ocean at Sire Beach. Gili Trawangan's south shore looks across to Mount Rinjani, from Scallywags' grill to Pearl Beach Lounge under its bamboo wave. The south coast is wilder. Ashtari sits above the road to Mawun, Folk Cafe is perched on a hill over Pantai Lancing, and at Selong Belanak, Codium and Laut Biru are both right on the sand.
