  ​We visited Mowie's for every occasion: breakfast, sunset drinks, lunch, and dinner. For us, it was hands down the best overall spot on the island when it comes to service, food quality, cocktails, beach layout, sunset views, and general vibe. ​From breakfast through to dinner, the food was consistently fresh, creative, and full of flavor. The tuna steak, tuna burger, and shrimp tacos are absolute must-tries! For drinks, we loved the Green Chilli Martini, and my personal favorite was definitely the Green Ginger. ​A huge thank you to the entire staff for their impeccable and attentive service. Highly recommended!

  We ate at the restaurant. The sunset views with beachside dining are incredible. The food was sensational. So good we ate here twice. The staff are very attentive and friendly. We ate the tuna tartare, cauliflower croquettes, prawn tacos, barramundi with lemon sauce. Wine is acceptable. Even the chilled red gets to room temperature within 2 minutes. Super good value for money. If u r on Gili Air it’s a must do dining experience. But arrive in time for happy hour 5-7pm to enjoy the sunset light oking back over Gili T to Mt Agung.

  Mowie’s is located in front of the best stretch of beach on the ilsand … beautiful blue, peaceful water. The food is excellent, I recommend the tuna steak which I became addicted to and ate almost every day. The staff is amazing and super attentive. Not only was the vibe social and uber friendly, they also have blazing fast Starlink, which, on a tropical island, makes working remotely incredibly easy. All I can say is thank you, I’m a regular here and absolutely love the place.

  We went for sundowners and the setting did the job on its own: gorgeous sunset, right on the beach, hard to beat. Service was quick and the staff kept things running smoothly even though it was clearly the busiest hour of their day. On drinks: the Karma Kolada was excellent, as was the classic mojito. The strawberry daiquiri was a bit flat by comparison, worth skipping in favour of the other two. A proper sunset spot and one of the better ones on the island for cocktails. Would go back for the setting and vibe alone.
