  I’m usually very skeptical about going to Italian restaurants when I’m abroad. Too often they are improvised places or restaurants simply trying to imitate Italian food and culture. But Francesco’s was a wonderful surprise. After almost one month traveling around Indonesia, we were looking for a little taste of Italy. We found this place thanks to the great reviews, and they were absolutely right. The menu is rich and varied, covering many different parts of Italian cuisine, from pizza to pasta and some amazing desserts. The pasta dishes are excellent, and you can really feel the attention to quality and tradition. The pasta for the lasagna is homemade, and so are the gnocchi. These little details make a huge difference and, for a moment, brought us back to our beloved Italy. The quality of the food is excellent, but what really makes this place special is the care behind everything. Francesco really cares about his guests and does his best to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, the staff is very kind, and you can feel the passion for Italian food and hospitality. Definitely try the pizza and the pasta dishes, but please save some space for dessert, they are absolutely fantastic! A big applause to Francesco for bringing authentic Italian food and culture thousands of kilometers away from Italy. Thank you, Francesco, for making us feel a little bit at home in Gili T! 🇮🇹❤️

  The pizza was so good and there are so many options with a nice variety of additional toppings too. Also tried their lasagna, would love some stronger tomato sauce but the texture and amount of ingredients used were pretty generous. Service is great, pretty quick too especially for indonesian standards. Staff is kind and always have a positive attitude. The showstopper was their cheesecake though. Best cheesecake i’ve ever had. I’d come to Gili T just to get a taste of it in the future.

  One of the best places for authentic pizza in Gili Trawangan. The quality is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. The pizzas are freshly made, the condiments are complete, and every bite is worth the wait. The restaurant is spacious with a relaxed atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Parking is available along the roadside, as there isn’t a dedicated parking area. Just be prepared to wait a little during busy hours—but trust me, it’s absolutely worth it!

  Taste is good. Service is nice. Highly recommend the pizza and pasta here, as the taste is quite authentic. For price-value worth, i would recommended the piadina / flat bread. All hams are freshly served, and requesting parmesan would cost extra. They also got parking spaces to park your bicycle or motorbike, though the spaces is very limited.
