  We had a wonderful experience here. First the service was top notch, love that they ask your name and refer to you personally. Second the food was amazing. The chicken taliwang is so flavourful, definitely a must have - bonus they removed the bones which my partner prefers much. The octopus starter was my personal favourite as it was cooked to perfection. Drinks wise the espresso martini was perfectly made, shout out to the bartender. The only thing that didn’t quite hit the mark for me personally was the tortellini which had thicker pasta skin and I can barely taste the pumpkin.. other than that all other dishes were spectacular.

  We just had the most incredible experience here at KAI. We had the 7-course tasting experience and every single dish we had was just divine. From start to finish the whole experience was amazing. We were greeted so warmly by every member of staff as we entered the restaurant. Alex was our main waiter and was so friendly, helpful and attentive. He explained each dish we had so well and gave us a truly exceptional service that you could tell he really cared about. The atmosphere was so warming yet sophisticated. The food was delicious and I even tried foods that I would not usually select. I would really recommend this restaurant along with the tasting experience! Thank you so much to Alex for making the evening so special. We will definitely be recommending to friends that come to Gilli and hope to be back soon!

She was incredibly friendly, caring, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her warm personality and outstanding hospitality made our experience even more memorable. She is a true asset to the restaurant, and we are very grateful for the wonderful service she provided.   We had the 5-course set menu at Kai The Spice Table and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. Each course took us on a journey through Indonesia, showcasing the diversity of flavors, ingredients, and culinary traditions from different regions of the country. What made the experience even more special was our waiter, Erick. He took the time to explain every dish in detail, sharing the stories and inspiration behind each course. His knowledge, passion, and attentive service truly elevated the meal. The food was beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and full of authentic flavors. It felt like much more than dinner, it was a culinary exploration of Indonesia. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique dining experience in Bali. Thank you to Erick and the entire team for a memorable evening!
