Best Italian Restaurants in Lombok

Italian food in Lombok mostly means pizza, and the island does it well. Mama Pizza began on Gili Air, where the dining room looks out to the beach and the wood fired sourdough comes with pasta, tiramisu and cocktails. Its second branch on Jalan Raya Kuta in Kuta Lombok bakes in brick ovens under a mango tree, and the deep pan gnocchi and burrata pizza sell out, so reserve them ahead.

On Gili Trawangan there are two pizza stops near the harbour. Francesco's Pizza turns out blistered thin crust pies opposite the market, with family sized pizzas that feed two, and Pizzeria Regina, one street back on Jalan Ikan Hiu, is much bigger inside than it looks and always seems full, yet service stays quick.

Pasta Pojok on the Senggigi strip makes its own pasta and wood fired pizza, with generous portions, fair prices and coffee that gets more attention than you might expect. This is an early list, opening for diner votes, and positions cannot be bought.
