Michelin Guide Philippines 2027: Where to Book Before the 29 October Reveal

Supper Social22 October 20264 min read

The MICHELIN Guide reveals its second Philippine selection, the 2027 MICHELIN Guide Manila and Environs & Cebu, on Thursday 29 October 2026. Until then, the 2026 list is the one that stands. Here is what to know about the night, the nine restaurants that currently hold MICHELIN Stars and how to book them, and what Michelin itself says to watch for. We will update this page after the reveal.

Checked on 19 October 2026 against the MICHELIN Guide's own pages and each restaurant's website. Booking rules change, so check with the restaurant before you plan around a table.

What to know about the 29 October reveal

Thursday 29 October 2026, from 5pm Manila time, at the Manila Marriott Hotel at Newport World Resorts. The ceremony is invite-only, but Michelin says it will livestream it on the MICHELIN Guide YouTube channel. The new Stars, Bib Gourmand and MICHELIN Selected restaurants will be announced on the night, along with special awards for people in the Philippine dining industry. Details are on Michelin's save-the-date page.

The first edition was revealed on 30 October 2025. It listed 108 places: one restaurant with Two MICHELIN Stars, eight with One Star, 25 Bib Gourmand and 74 MICHELIN Selected, with 90 in Manila and its environs and 18 in Cebu, according to Michelin's press release.

The 2026 MICHELIN Stars, and how to book them

This is the official 2026 list from the MICHELIN Guide. Descriptions in quotes are Michelin's; booking details come from each restaurant's own website.

Two MICHELIN Stars

Helm, Makati. Chef Josh Boutwood's tasting menu draws on his half-British, half-Filipino roots and Spanish influences. Michelin's press release describes an eight-course menu served around a U-shaped counter with ten seats, so seats are limited. It was the only restaurant in the Philippines to receive Two Stars in 2026.

Toyo Eatery, Makati. Michelin notes that the name is Tagalog for soy sauce and that the cooking is "layered, complex and deeply Filipino at heart". Reservations run Tuesday to Saturday, 6pm to 11pm, at The Alley at Karrivin, Karrivin Plaza, Chino Roces Extension. Reservation details are on toyoeatery.com.

Inatô, Makati. "Guests ring a bell to enter" and sit at a marble counter that seats eight, in Michelin's words. Chef JP Cruz's menu changes with the seasons, and the restaurant is in the same Karrivin Plaza alley as Toyo. Reservations are by email or message; details are on inato.ph.

Hapag, Makati. Chefs Nav and Thirdy cook Filipino food from local produce. Hapag serves dinner Tuesday to Sunday and lunch Thursday to Sunday, and says its seats "run out fast". Its operations director and sommelier Erin Recto won Michelin's Service Award in 2026. Book on hapagmnl.com.

Linamnam, Parañaque. Michelin describes ten diners seated in what was once the chef's childhood bedroom. Chef Don Patrick Baldosano won the 2026 Young Chef Award at 27. Linamnam releases reservations on the first Saturday of each month, for dates two months ahead, with an 11-course tasting menu at ₱6,500 and a 16-course menu at ₱8,500, according to its booking page. This is the one to plan furthest ahead for.

Celera, Makati. "Two chef-owners craft contemporary Asian fare" drawing on Japan, China, Singapore and beyond, says Michelin. Details are on restaurantcelera.com.

Kása Palma, Makati. Michelin says the chef uses French technique and influences from Latin America to Southeast Asia to cook "expressive, wood-fired dishes" from local ingredients. Book on kasapalma.com.

Gallery by Chele, Taguig. Chef Chele González's restaurant holds One Star and is the only MICHELIN Green Star in the 2026 Philippine selection, recognised for local sourcing, waste reduction and community work, according to Michelin.

Asador Alfonso, Cavite. The one starred restaurant outside Metro Manila. Michelin says its ingredients come directly from Spain, for "rustic simplicity with remarkable depth".

What to watch on the night

Michelin has said a few things about this edition, and nothing more. Its inspectors are returning to Manila and Cebu and "extending their search into Manila's environs". It says they are seeing "new voices emerging" and "established talents taking unexpected turns". It also notes that 2026 is the centenary of the MICHELIN Star, first awarded in 1926. Which restaurants gain, keep or lose Stars will not be known until 29 October, and we will not guess.

Michelin's save-the-date also mentions Cebu's lechon, seafood and charcoal grilling, and drinks built on native spirits, tropical fruit and coffee. If you are eating in Manila this month, the 2026 Bib Gourmand list is a good place to look, and several of its restaurants have pages on Supper Social, including Morning Sun Eatery, Lampara and Los Tacos.
