  • 10/10 no notes slayed so hard. Inhaled their opening dish on their tasting menu. Cried over the lobster. Pigeon and lamb were so so sooooooooooo good. Foie gras cookie oh my god!!!!! Shokupan and fermented kesong puti!!!! Worth EVERY penny and it’s so cool that this level of cooking and service is accessible for Filipinos. Such a memorable meal and it was delightful to interact with everyone who came by our table - you can tell how much this team enjoys service too! Some great anecdotes about how much they love their team and job. There’s just so much joy to experience through Celera’s food 🫶🏼 and I’d def recommend the wine pairing but I hear excellent things about their juice pairing too!

  • We’ve been looking forward to trying Celera for a while and finally scored a booking just in time for a double celebration: my 35th birthday and our upcoming baby! From the start, the reservation process was a breeze. I especially appreciated how attentive the entire team was regarding our pregnancy. They were so careful with the ingredients and made sure every dish was safely prepared without us even having to worry. It really allowed us to just relax and enjoy the night. The ambiance was spot on. Between the cozy lighting and the perfect audio levels, the mood was definitely there, but we could still actually hear each other talk. Also, finding abundant parking in the heart of Makati is a rare win, and the valet service made the arrival so smooth. Chef Quenee greeted us right away and was incredibly welcoming. As for the food, the 8-course menu was exquisite and beautifully balanced. It was such a treat to see squab as the main entree. It’s a rare find for degustations here in the Philippines and it was executed perfectly. What really made the night, though, was the team. They didn’t just serve us, they really took the time to converse and connect with us, which made the experience feel so much more personal. Thank you for having us. We loved every bit of it!

  • We went here for a birthday dinner. I am so pleased with dishes and the service was spot on. I love that the pacing was timely and kept the anticipation on high. The dish felt new and familiar at the same time, which amazed. I knew it’s Asian but didn’t matter where. Our favorites are the beef tenderloin tart with bone broth, it was such a good start and it got us excited for the next dishes. The lobster tail with fish head noodles laksa bisque was also a hit. I loved that it was cold and was thoughtfully served with a side of sambal paste if you wanted a little kick. And to top it off, they served us milk bread to wipe off the remaining sauce on the bowl, it was so good that I shook my head. The Filipino warmth of the team, we felt it. We also ordered the pandan drinks and even that, the mixologist (I think) told us a story about it with so much passion. The serving size was just right also well thought, the temperature was right, it was easy to consume, the pigeon legs had ties where we can hold them. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend and come back

  • An extraordinary dining destination, easily rivaling many other temples of haute cuisine that have been around longer or with a more renowned pedigree. Celera is also that rare tasting menu restaurant that also offers a robust and delightful à la carte experience for those with small appetites or selective palates. Truly one of the best that the Philippines has to offer. A caveat: vegetarian options are, sadly, limited at this time; also, do make the effort to reach out to the resto for their menus to make sure you have something to eat, as this is not your typical place that has one reliable pork or chicken option. I do encourage you to plunge in if you’ve got no horrific allergies or dietary restrictions; your faith will be rewarded!
