  I checked out the reviews & the menu before I went there, since I wanted to know if they had any vegan options. I ordered a vegetable curry with rice & fried tempeh to go.. & I have to say, it was one of the best curries I’ve ever had & the tempeh was so flavorful & tender. Plus, the 3 ladies were so nice & welcoming, & I didn’t have to wait long for my food to be ready. You could really taste that it was made with love 💛 Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  I tried the nasi goreng and Ayam Taliwang, and it was one of the best warungs around Kuta. The flavours were amazing and the portions were just right. Very affordable too. I even planned to come back on my last day, but unfortunately it was closed 😢

  Warung Lamina is a humble roadside warung, slightly uphill from the pedestrian path, and a great spot for a simple, satisfying lunch. I ordered Ayam Taliwang, a traditional dish from Lombok. For those new to it: Ayam Taliwang is half a grilled chicken, marinated in chili, garlic, shrimp paste, and spices—smoky, savory, and spicy, but still very balanced. The chicken here was flavorful and enjoyable. I also tried plecing kangkung (water spinach with chili sambal). It was quite spicy—normal by local standards, so be prepared if you’re not used to Indonesian heat The warung itself is clean, simple, and honest, exactly what you hope for when eating local food. No frills, just good Lombok flavors done right.

  We had a fantastic meal at Warung Lamina in Kuta! The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour, and clearly made with fresh ingredients. Every dish we ordered was excellent. We did have to wait a little while for our food, but it was more than worth it. Everything was cooked fresh, and the quality really showed. We’d happily wait again for a meal this good! The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. If you’re in Kuta and looking for authentic, tasty food, we highly recommend Warung Lamina. Great food, warm service, and definitely worth the wait!
