  I can always sniff out a good little bar and Captikus was no exception. Follow the signs down a little alleyway and pull open the bookshelf to reveal an amazing little speakeasy. We were quite early and greeted by some wonderful staff and indeed the owner at one point. A DJ was playing warm up for what would be a party night later in the evening. The music was perfect...minimal Berlin Style Dub techno which I love. Not too loud and so conversation was easy. We had just eaten next door so no food was ordered but we had a great cocktail menu and some snacks set in front of us. The signature cocktails are well thought out and have amazing flavours. The bar staff always willing to discuss flavour profiles and their thinking behind each drink. We stayed for three or four drinks...price was good ..all in our spend for two was around 1.1 Million IDR One small negative was the fact that some of the drinks are pre mixed. I ordered a Dry Martini and was a little disappointed to see it come from the cooler ready to pour. You just cannot make a quality Martini and then store it. This is only a minor niggle though as every other aspect of this speakeasy was exceptional. Will I return?...absolutely! The owner deserves praise for creating a super welcoming space with excellent staff and wonderful atmosphere.

  Worth the visit for the list of Indonesian cocktails alone. But add to that those drinks are all well-executed original takes, the space is cool, the music is solid, and - above all - the bar guys are fun and friendly. And well, you’ve got yourself a five star recommendation. Just don’t do what I did and use the wrong ‘secret entrance’ and almost cut power to the bar and the restaurant next door. Enter through the bookcase, *not* the mysterious glowing electrical cupboard!

  Fabulous speak easy - really amazing cocktail list and great food. It’s super fun to find and beautiful inside. The staff are super helpful, great recommendations. The tuna Tatar was sensational.

  I had such a good experience at Captikus Lombok. The staff were honestly some of the best service I have received, they really take the time to explain the drinks and make recommendations. I tried three and every one was great. The bar snacks also incredible. The vibe is spot on, and getting in through the ‘bookcase’ makes it feel a bit special from the start. It does get lively later in the evening, so if you are after a quieter drink and a proper chat with the staff, I would recommend going around 7:30. We left around 9 when it started to get really busy. Shoutout to Aldry, Jose and Ignas for making it such a fun night. A must if you are in Lombok and want good drinks.
