  What a great izakaya experience - we really enjoyed the atmosphere and sitting by the bar in front of the kitchen is the best way to spend a lovely evening at Narukiyo. The chef is crazy but hilarious. We had the sashimi platter, Wagyu steak, tempura, crabs and asparagus. Everything was so so so delicious! My new favorite izakaya in Tokyo.

  Great vibes and music in this “underground” Izakaya. Food was all delicious and fresh so go ahead and try whatever you feel like! They didn’t show us a menu with price and the bill was slightly expensive! But I feel it’s still alright for what we ordered and the vibes! Would recommend to try if you’re around the area!

  Such a perfect restaurant in Tokyo ! Every dish served with good quality and good taste. Perfect meal of the trip. Very recommended for this restaurant. Also, good hospitality of the owner and staff. The sashimi platter is so fresh. I think it’s better than some shop in fish market. Tempura and Grilled beef are also perfect cook ! Really appreciated ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  The food was amazing but overall atmopshere makes it all. Small and packed. Need to look down the stairs from the street for entrance. Reservations are welcomed and recomended. I manged to be sitted despite not having it but many people returned. The staff is friendly even tough English speaking is not their plus. Menu is only in Japanese but Google Translate will help if you need to be mindful of allergies. Other than that, you can leave it to them. If not being at the bar but sitting round the table, you will need to take the shoes off.
