  • Went here on a Saturday night and there were available seats. It's a really laid back spot for Yakitori. I specifically liked their pork sticks because it's marinated in a miso glaze. The chicken heart is also fairly seasoned. The rest of the sticks were underseasoned to my liking. We kept asking for pepper and togarashi to add more flavor to the sticks that we got, but they charge 20 pesos per small serving of seasoning, so that was a real turnoff.

  • B1G1 cocktails are meh but okay na cguro for the price. But please order the Barik Lambanog - we get this every single time. So yummy, like a local mule x amaretto sour I expected the okonomiyaki to be more filling sana but shoutout to the pork skewers! So flavorful and such a unique taste. Sausage was our second favorite Their fries are okay, small serving size Service is tricky because servers are always busy going up and down the areas. 2nd floor is more on club/bar vibes with party lighting and loud music. 1st floor for more laid-back, talking vibes

  • We dropped by on a Sunday night and had a peaceful, quick meal. The food is honestly good and super affordable! The absolute stars are the sticks—the Isaw is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the Gizzard wasn't chewy at all. The Pork Skewers and Chicken Heart were also bomb. In the photo, you’ll see the chicken karaage, Japanoy and Yakitori Trio. Both come with Chicharon Bagnet, which was a bit kunat and definitely enough for two to share. Lil-tip: if you’re a duo, maybe only one of you should get a set so you don't over-order on the bagnet. Also, take note that they don’t offer service water, only bottled water. As for the vibe, it’s a typical party-area spot, so expect some wear and tear like the sofas needing a deep clean. We tried heading to the second floor for the live band, but the bathroom smell was a bit much, so we stuck to the ground floor. If you can overlook the gritty maintenance, those skewers are 100% worth the visit!

  • I celebrated my birthday at Tambai in Poblacion and had such a great time. It has a speakeasy vibe with live music, and the band even sang for me. Such a lovely gesture. We also got to request a few songs, which made the night even more special. 🥳 The only downside was that many items on the menu were unavailable at the time, so we had to change our order about four to five times and ended up choosing from what was left. The promo cocktail was also a bit too sour for my taste, maybe because it was B1T1. Still, the atmosphere was fun and the people were friendly. A memorable birthday spot for sure.
