  I finally visited KHAO, a restaurant I'd been wanting to try for a long time. I enjoyed their course meal, which included tea and wine pairings. The wine pairings, starting with Champagne and continuing through white, rosé, red, and dessert wines, were meticulously planned for each dish, which was truly impressive. The combination of the aromas and spices of Thai cuisine with the wines was incredibly refreshing. Particularly memorable were the "Khao Yam," which was mixed and finished right in front of me, the "Pu Dong," with its delicious fermented flavor and the sweetness of crab, and the red curry made with duck from Aichi Prefecture. Every dish was carefully considered in terms of aroma, texture, and temperature, making it a course that delighted all five senses. The tableware and atmosphere were also lovely, and the staff provided excellent service. It was a special dining experience that changed my perception of "Thai cuisine." I would love to visit again in a different season.

  Originally a renowned restaurant in Nagoya. It has now expanded to Tokyo and earned a Michelin star. Reservations are extremely difficult to obtain. Tea and wine pairings are available. A 2-hour course. Every dish is a revelation that overturns previous perceptions of Thai cuisine. Portions are on the smaller side. Exceptional service.   First time trying Thai fine dining. Curry rice and oxtail soup tastes great. Staff can speak English. I think it is overpriced, the appetisers are bland and lack of build up. The main dishes are too spicy for my liking, but I still loved them!
