  • One of the best 3 Michelin meals in the world I’ve had in recent memory. We were a party of five, made a reservation in the private room next to kitchen for just a modest fee. Every ingredient on their menu is sourced from Japan only. The vegetable medley consisted of 64 different types of vegetable/root/fruits. The restaurant usually does not encourage guests to bring their own wines, but allowed us to open our bottles once we signaled intent to order wine from them as well.

  • This is a restaurant of which I am exceedingly fond. I first visited to celebrate a special anniversary. On that occasion, the food was quite exceptional, and, happily, I was able to secure my next booking with relative ease. Since then, wishing to savour the restaurant’s seasonal offerings throughout the year, I have made a point of returning every three or four months. No matter how many times I visit, it never loses its charm. It is, quite simply, a splendid restaurant.

  • I visited for a special occasion, and it remains one of my most memorable Tokyo dining experiences. Chef’s ability to blend French technique with Japanese ingredients and culture elements is world-class. It was great to see their collaboration on the JAL Business Class menu recently—well deserved. Some Highlights: The Signature Turnip: Their "Fixed Point" turnip is a masterclass in technique. I’ve never had a vegetable maximized like this; it’s incredibly rich and savory. The Salad: The beautiful presentation of the fresh vegetable basket was definitely memorable. They showcase the raw ingredients before preparing a complex salad of 50+ seasonal items. The Ceremony: The meal concludes with a traditional Japanese tea ceremony, which adds a beautiful, meditative layer to the fine dining experience. Service & Departure: Service was always warm and attentive, as expected of a top-tier restaurant. We left with a generous gift bag, including a bottle of fancy artisanal soy sauce. A definitive three-star experience that I hope to revisit next time in Tokyo.

  • Our long awaited very first time to this 3 stars restaurant. I would say impressive on first sight when stepped into the beautiful and romantic setting of the restaurant. Service was great and attentive. Food wise, I just loved the crispy duck breast. Rest I can’t say not good but not impressed me to come back again. I think they knew that we were very full by desert moment and told us they could pack the deserts for us to take home. That’s very attentive. I would expect more on the food quality as per the px tag.
