Best Mexican Restaurants in Bali 2026

Bali's Mexican list is five deep and spread across four areas. Lola's Cantina Mexicana, from Clean Plate Collective, presses tortillas by hand and lines its Uluwatu bar with more than 40 tequilas and mezcals. Origen in Pererenan cooks from chef Alejandro Urbina Andrade's Veracruz memories, blends family recipes with Balinese produce and bills its mezcal list as the largest in Bali. Motel Mexicola, the original Mexicola Group venue in Seminyak, takes its cue from the streets of Mexico City and holds up to 400 guests among the coconut palms.

The other two take different routes. LOLITAS looks straight down on Racetracks off Uluwatu and runs as a seafood taqueria, with chef Mauricio cooking his home recipes over open flames. Lacalita, a long runner in Seminyak and Canggu, puts tacos first at its louder Batu Bolong outpost, with margarita and tequila tasting flights.

Order like a regular: tacos and a margarita at Lola's, chilaquiles and a spicy margarita at Origen, birria tacos with consommé at Motel Mexicola. Diners set the order two venues at a time, and positions cannot be bought.
