  • For starters, we got the bistek pintxos (₱485). We were surprised with this dish - firstly by the sheer size of the bistek on top of the bread, but also by its flavor and tenderness. It was cooked medium well and it was just so tender. It was like eating steak for starters. The pickled onions cut through the richness nicely and added a great balance to the dish. We also tried the baked scallops (₱570). They were decent but a bit too oily for my liking. We ordered the Octadobo (₱780) for our main dish. This dish was well-balanced. The rice is cooked in adobo sauce, but instead of being overwhelmingly salty, the flavors were well-balanced with a subtle sweetness. There were a few dollops of garlic aioli on top which added a bright, contrasting, and acidic twist to the dish. The octopus was tender and seasoned well. I saw some negative reviews about this online but maybe they just lack in consistency because I loved this. Service was ok but it depends on the staff, some were nice and some were not.

  • 35-40 minute wait time for our food is unacceptable, especially when I had to send one dish back. Don’t put something on the menu if you can’t execute it properly. As someone who genuinely loves octopus, the Octadobo was a nightmare. Waiting over half an hour only to be served a chewy, practically inedible octopus was incredibly disappointing. I had no choice but to send it back. The Green Curry Bicol Express was nothing to write home about either. Beef tenderness was inconsistent, the beans leaned undercooked, though the sauce was decent enough to be the dish’s only redeeming quality. Ended up sharing this with my partner because i don’t wanna spend two hours here. Not coming back to this one - and definitely no compliments to the chef.

  • This was already my third time dining at this restaurant, and as always, the food didn’t disappoint. Everything we ordered—from appetizers to mains—was delicious, though I did feel that the portions were a bit on the small side, especially given the higher price point. Some standout dishes for us were the SMB, which was spot on in terms of flavor and presentation, Mac’s Boneless Fried Chicken, which I’d happily give a 5-star rating for its perfectly crispy batter and just the right hint of sweetness, and the Boneless Lechon Belly, which was a real crowd-pleaser—crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful inside. Overall, it was a lovely dinner with family, and we enjoyed the experience. We’d love to come back someday, but not too soon—as much as we appreciated the quality of the food and service, we feel that similar standards can be found at other restaurants with a more affordable price range.

  • Great-tasting Filipino food with a twist. A bit pricey but this is a good alternative to Manam. Ate here on a weekday for lunch and there was no wait time. The menu had a lot of dishes to choose from. Serving size: Dishes ordered were only good for 2 pax. Kare-kare Wings: would recommend to try this especially if you have foreigner friends with you. 6 pieces for one order and there are 2 dips: bagoong and a creamy dip. Makanin siya especially with the bagoong. There are also singkamas (jicama) and green mango slices on the side. Fried Oyster Sisig: not that greasy and would recommend to be paired with white rice. Hindi rin tinipid yung amount of oysters on the plate. Overall a great dining experience. Staff and manager(?) were very attentive and quick to respond to our needs. Would definitely come back.
