What a fantastic place! What warm hospitality. Hans very kindly showed us all around including the first floor. The rates are very reasonable too. I would like to visit Jakarta only for Tugu establishments (also went to Dapur Babh and Lara Djonggrang). Made my birthday really memorable. Thank you Hans. Hans means Swan in Sanskrit :-)
5.0debashis basu· a month agoFINE DINING RESTAURANT WITH GOOD SERVICE, OKE FOOD AND WILD CARD AMBIENCE Location - This is a very famous place which doesn't need introduction, but still writing the location. It's near Masjid Cut Mutia on Teuku Umar road. Parking - Good enuf parking. But on weekends, be ready to park on the road. Ambience - it's a wild card. Some find it exotic, some creepy, some tight upper lip. Food Menu - Extensive menu of Indonesian food + Western food. Separate Wine and Drinks Menu. Food Taste and Portion - The portion is OK. Sate was good and so was cream soup. HUMMUS was not good at all, seemed to be hurriedly made and in blender. The only low point of the visit. Service - Fantastic service, v v impeccable. Pak Dana was very attentive. They even had a nice Bday surprise for me. Price - It's fine dining and hence expensive. Most dishes north of 150k IDR
4.0Hansal Savla· 5 months agoDana provided outstanding service and made the evening truly memorable. He recommended the beef rendang and beer, and everything was excellent—I originally planned to have only one or two beers but enjoyed myself so much that I ended up having three. What made the experience even more special was Dana taking the time to show me around this beautiful historic mansion, dating back to around 1830. The atmosphere, architecture and history were breathtaking. This is more than just a great dining experience—it is a place worth exploring. I would gladly bring my family and friends here when they visit Jakarta. Thank you, Dana, for the warm hospitality and exceptional service!
5.0Kok Chiang Sor· 2 months agoAbsolutely magical – a true fairytale experience Kunstkring Restaurant is nothing short of magical. From the moment you step inside, it feels like entering a fairytale world. I have rarely seen a place this beautiful, atmospheric, and full of character. We were given a special guided tour, which made the experience even more unforgettable. Every detail tells a story, and the history, art, and elegance of this place are simply breathtaking. The service was outstanding. A special thank you to Dyan, who helped us so warmly and professionally — truly exceptional hospitality. I give this place a 10 out of 10 for everything: atmosphere, experience, service, and beauty. An absolute must-visit in Jakarta.
