As a tour guide, I brought my guests to Sate & Seafood Senayan, Menteng to introduce them to authentic Indonesian cuisine, and it was an absolute success! We ordered a variety of dishes including Lontong Cap Gomeh, Nasi Goreng Kambing, shrimp, satay, fried mutton (kambing goreng), and washed it all down with Cendol and Es Teh Manis. My guests loved every single bite and were so happy with the rich flavors. A wonderful spot to give foreigners a true taste of Indonesia. Highly recommended!"

Conveniently located just a few steps away from Hotel Des Indes in Menteng, the food here was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the Gado-gado, Rawon and Sate Ayam Pronogoro, and all we good. The Rawon was very tasty and the peanut sauce for the Sate Pronogoro was excellent. Our waiter was friendly which helped make our visit very memorable.

Great place for gatherings with a spacious and clean environment. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and affordable food options. Quality and portion sizes were excellent. The staff were polite, attentive, and provided great service throughout our visit. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely return again.

One of my favorite spots in Jakarta when I want properly curated Indonesian food that’s consistently good — and safe to bring foreign guests or friends from out of town. Sate Khas Senayan Menteng has that classic, comfortable vibe. It’s clean, well-maintained, and feels very “Menteng” — calm, a bit refined, and not overly crowded. The kind of place where people actually enjoy a proper sit-down meal without noise or chaos. The food? Solid and reliable. From their signature satay to traditional Indonesian dishes, everything is nicely presented and easy for newcomers to enjoy. It’s Indonesian cuisine done in a way that feels approachable yet still authentic — perfect if someone wants to explore local flavors without going too adventurous. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Indonesian food and prefers a quieter, more relaxed dining experience.
