  • Standing proudly at the gateway of Glodok, Pantjoran Tea House is a cultural pitstop where decades of history remain intact, beautifully showcasing the intersection of Chinese heritage and Indonesian culture. We had ordered the Tai Ju Tea, an absolute requirement as it offers a soft yet incredibly deep aroma, served with traditional precision that elevates it from a drink to a meditative experience. Love it to the max! Pantjoran Tea House is an essential cultural pilgrimage in Jakarta. Do not rush this visit. Come here specifically to slow down, absorb the history, and let the ritual of traditional tea drinking recalibrate your day.

  • Pantjoran Tea House is a charming heritage hideaway that beautifully blends culture, history, and tranquillity. Stepping inside feels like travelling back in time, the classic wooden furnishings, warm lantern glow, and nostalgic décor create a peaceful atmosphere that invites you to slow down and savour the moment. It’s an ideal spot to escape the city buzz, whether for quiet reflection or a relaxed catch-up with friends. Their iced lemon tea is refreshingly delightful and can be customised to no sugar, making it a perfect guilt-free choice for those who prefer a cleaner, more natural taste. The citrus notes are bright and uplifting, wonderfully soothing on a warm day. Simple yet elegant, Pantjoran Tea House offers more than just beverages, it delivers an experience steeped in heritage and calmness. A lovely place to pause, unwind, and enjoy tea the old-fashioned way.

  • The place is beautiful, such delicacy on the roadside of Glodok. I love the tea variant they sell there, and the ritual to serve it. If you’re worried about not knowing how to enjoy the tea, the servers will do the ritual of serving the tea for you step by step. And it’s definitely something to behold and unique experience. Best time to visit is either in the morning or afternoon when the sun isn’t so high and the temperature is cooler. The interior is neat, typical of traditional Chinese restaurant. I love how the outdoor space for smoking is set. Several tables with small chair, lets you enjoy the view of the busy market.

  • Located right at the welcome gate of Glodok. Such a heritage with quite a menu of tea, food and beverages. We were seating at the second floor showcasing the old ambience of china house, I supposed. I was recommended the white tea which was so light, fragrant and refreshing. Since they used such a small cup so I thought it wouldn't make me full easily, but I was wrong 😆 Yet I also ordered some bakpao and xiao long bao 🤤🤤 Will surely come back again 😊
