It has been a long time since my last visit, and the transformation of this place is quite impressive! The Place: What I remember as a smaller, modest building is now very neat, well-organized, and much more comfortable for dining in. It's a great upgrade while still keeping the classic soul of the restaurant. The Food: The Taste: The flavor is still as 'nampol' (hits the spot) as ever. The meat is incredibly savory and seasoned perfectly. Portions: They are very generous with the meat. You get plenty of meat mixed in with the noodles, plus additional toppings that make every bite satisfying. Pangsit Kuah: Their boiled wontons are also a standout—delicious, with a soft texture and tasty filling. Verdict: A legendary spot that has successfully modernized its look without losing its signature delicious taste. Highly recommended for any noodle lover!
5.0Banuaji P· 6 months agoThis legendary noodle eateries in town that has been established since 1962 is definitely worth visiting. It serves home-made noodle recipes with selection of toppings such as pork, chicken, or seafood with decent price and size options are available for the noodles. Though this eatery has been renovated, most locals still believes the taste remains unchanged. Not too worry as there is an air-conditioner here. The ordering system is through a tab taken by the staff, and payment is directly to the cashier at the front with cash, debit, and Qris option only. If you’re a noodle addict, this place should be put on your list!
4.0Cindy C Rahardjo· 3 months agoIt's a legendary noodle place in Pasar Baru. People say that this is an old bakmi place that has existed for a long time. What they say is true! The noodles are well-seasoned, even when you eat them without the topping. I like their char siu pork, which is sweet and tender. I am not a fan of their pangsit crackers because they are thick, but the filling is delicious. The place has two floors, and don't worry, they provide lift service for those who aren't able to take the stairs. The downside is that they don't have a dedicated parking space. The price is standard. I spent under IDR 200K for two people. They accept QRIS payment.
4.0Ian· 8 months agoBakmi Aboen Pasar Baru: Legendary Jakarta Hidden Gem You Can’t Miss 🍜🔥 A true Jakarta legend you must try when visiting the city. From its early days as a small non-AC eatery to now a 3-floor spot with lift and AC, Bakmi Aboen Pasar Baru keeps its quality consistent. The menu is simple but everything is high quality. Our go-to is the special pork noodle with three toppings—roast pork, red charsiu, and sliced pork—plus chicken option. This time we also ordered fish balls and suikiau. The siomay and fried meatballs are classic bakmi staples. The fried pork lochupan is smoky and generous in toppings. Don’t miss the liang tea served with grass jelly. A timeless hidden gem in Jakarta.
