Hands down the best meal we had in Bali was at Cantina. The whole place had such a romantic and intimate vibe that it instantly felt special from the moment we walked in. We started with the bruschetta and somehow even had me enjoying tomato, which says everything. Perfectly seasoned with garlic and basil and ridiculously fresh. My partner got the braised beef ravioli with this rich, beautiful beef sauce and I got the 4 cheese formaggi gnocchi. The second the mains hit the table and we saw that ravioli, our mouths were watering. The pasta tasted unbelievably fresh and the gnocchi genuinely melted in my mouth. The cheese sauce was honestly one of the best sauces I have ever had in my life. You could tell they used proper quality cheese and cared about every part of the dish. Dessert somehow kept getting better too. The lemongrass crème brûlée and mousse were both absolutely to die for. Huge shoutout to Abdul and the lovely ladies as well, who served us the whole night with a massive grin. Abdul even brought over a complimentary limoncello shot before dessert, which was the perfect touch to finish the night. What makes this place even crazier is how underpriced it is for the quality you get. This was genuinely better than a lot of Italian food we’ve had back home in Melbourne. Still annoyed we only discovered Cantina on our final night in Bali because we absolutely would have come back again.
5.0Emerson Spriggs· 4 months agoMy favourite dinner spot. Such lovely staff. Amazing food. Really nice atmosphere. Have enjoyed their Greek salad, ravioli, pizzas. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended for a great meal. Keep up the great work team
5.0Craig Martin· 2 months agoI had a great experience overall. The highlight of my visit was the outstanding service from Alit and Suni. They were friendly, professional, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. The pasta was excellent—full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The garlic bread was delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tiramisu was also amazing, light, well-balanced, and the perfect way to finish the meal. The only dish that didn’t meet my expectations was the pizza. The dough had an unusual taste that wasn’t to my liking, and it didn’t match the high quality of the other dishes. It may be related to the dough preparation or fermentation, but it just wasn’t for me. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I would definitely come back, especially because of the exceptional service from Alit and Suni.

Very kind and welcoming atmosphere and such classy expensive looking restaurant with such reasonable prices for how amazing this food is I was expecting to pay a lot more. I ordered the spaghetti ragu and the garlic bread was on sourdough it was INCREDIBLE!
