5.0Rizza· 3 weeks agoThis place is popular amongst Indonesian tourists. But, too bad most of them came by only to take selfies at the chic patio, where the boutique, coffee shop, and restaurant meet. We went there for lunch and wasn't disappointed too much (the fact that they have a lovely big pool inside, but can't be accessed during day time is such a shame. This is Bali, having a spot to dine and dip at the same time is a virtue! 💔) Anyway, the food was great. We had barramundi, grilled chicken, and a lettuce salad side. Everything tasted better than expected, you can almost say they were all well articulated, like a fancy artwork. However, my kid apparently didn't find that amusing, she ordered chicken cheese burger from the kids menu section, but for her simple preference, the food was too (again) articulated. She complained about the taste of the sauce they had in her burger. I'd say, for the kids menu, the simpler the better. Ketchup is any kids' best friends. 😁 Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. She meticulously arranged and rearranged our cutleries and help us with the napkins and such. She also took time to explain our food when they arrived. It was almost like a fine dining experience. From an adult POV, the place is neat, luxurious, and elegant. But for a family destination, I guess a little toning down wouldn't hurt.
5.0大好き· 3 months agoThe perfect fresh lunch at Desa Kitsuné! 🐟🥗 Desa Kitsuné is easily one of the coolest spots in Bali right now. It is a massive, stunning space that perfectly blends Parisian-Japanese chic with relaxed island vibes. The Food: I had the "catch of the day" and a fresh salad at Ina Ré. The fish was perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and paired beautifully with the crisp, vibrant greens. It is the ultimate light, healthy lunch for a hot Bali day. The Café: Make sure to stop by Café Kitsuné afterward. Grab an iced matcha or coffee—the minimalist, green design is an aesthetic dream. The Vibe: The design and layout are absolutely gorgeous, offering a stylish and relaxing escape right in the middle of Canggu. The Service: The staff are super sweet, welcoming, and attentive. If you are looking for a fresh, high-quality meal in a beautiful setting, this place completely hits the spot. Highly recommend!
5.0Andreas Tjahjadi· 2 months agoDesa Kitsuné feels like stepping into a tiny Parisian pastry dream just a short stroll from the beach. No breakfast plates, no lunch menus, no dinner crowds. Just beautifully crafted French pastries, elegant coffee drinks, and an atmosphere that feels straight out of a fashion editorial. The outdoor patio was absolutely buzzing when I visited, with the cherry blossoms in full bloom creating the prettiest pink canopy overhead. Every corner felt made for photos, from the delicate pastries lined up like edible artwork to the charming seating area filled with people sipping lattes and snapping Instagram shots. It’s definitely one of those places where your camera eats first 📸🌸 I ordered the matcha almond croissant, a canelé, and an ube latte. The matcha almond croissant was enjoyable with its flaky layers and not so subtle matcha flavor. The canelé tasted a little too burnt for my liking and didn’t have the soft custardy center I was expecting. My ube latte was okay as well, though a bit sweeter than I personally prefer. The café itself is fairly small indoors, but the outdoor patio is spacious with plenty of seating, making it easy to relax and soak up the atmosphere. Even with a few misses on the food and drink side, I’m still glad I stopped by to experience the ambiance, snap a few beautiful photos, and enjoy the unique café setting near the beach.
