Actually wanted to give it 5 stars or 4.5 stars but hear me out. Overall, our experience was very good. Leaving a genuine review from a Chinese person. Food taste was authentic and flavourful. Portions were decent. Staff super friendly. Restaurant environment clean and cosy. The only critic I want to give was the choice of music played at the restaurant, it’s a Chinese eatery and Chinese vibes, but the playlist was a random Mexican sombrero like music then to American southern country music. Just really didn’t match the vibe of the place at all. Interesting thing was in the restroom area, they were playing very good popular classic chinese pop culture songs. I politely asked the staff if they could change the playlist to the one more like the toilet and they said that they couldn’t because it was instructed by upper management to do so. I would really love this song pace to continue striving as their food was very good, I genuinely think if you played more Chinese inspired /style music would give your place a lot more vibes and attract more business 🙏
4.0Johan Sng· 4 months agoTried Yeshi Canggu yesterday night and honestly… everything was so good. The foods are amazing, and the atmosphere really stands out. It has such a nice vibe comfortable, peaceful, and slightly luxurious without feeling over the top. Perfect for a chill dinner or a cute night out. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu!
5.0jazzy vmoyra· 4 months agoHad a really great experience at Yeshi. The venue has such a classy yet cozy atmosphere — modern interior, warm ambience, and a very comfortable space to dine in. It really gives that stylish but still welcoming vibe. Inspired by the energy of Chinese night markets with a modern Bali touch, the whole place feels unique and thoughtfully designed. The food was definitely memorable. The Chongqing Spicy Noodle was bold, rich, and packed with flavor with the perfect spicy kick. The Mapo Tofu was soft, comforting, and incredibly flavorful. And the Chocolate Lava Bao was such a fun dessert — fluffy bao with warm melted chocolate inside that wasn’t overly sweet. Hospitality here was also excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience feel very pleasant from start to finish. Overall, such a cozy and classy spot with amazing food and great service. Definitely one of the places worth revisiting in Bali 🤍
5.0Maria Angelia· 4 months agoYESHI, Canggu — and honestly… I was not expecting this. I walked in with low expectations and left genuinely impressed. House-made noodles, dumplings and buns — everything tasted incredibly fresh and thoughtfully done. Elevated Chinese cuisine with real depth of flavour. The candlelit ambience gives it a surprisingly romantic feel, the lighting is beautiful, and there’s a fully licensed bar serving cocktails and quality wines (yes, I enjoyed a gorgeous Italian red 🍷). Yeshi completely exceeded my expectations. If you love refined Chinese food with atmosphere, this one’s worth a visit.
