This Place Meats All Expectations !! I used to frequent an alternative venue for my meat supply and dining option . I found they had really gone downhill recently … no alcohol served , inattentive , bored staff and less than professional standards … so I was a little wary about Big Meat in Pererenan would offer . WOW … was I impressed with Big Meat . Firstly the staff … so welcoming and professional . Really funky T Shirts … suggesting they weren’t a vegan/ vegetarian establishment . The restaurant interior is appealing with seating options being booth style , individual tables or long bench arrangements . I booked a booth and was really happy with it . Without realising it I happened to book in time for a 2 for 1 happy hour for cocktail which allowed me sufficient time to check out the menu . I mixed it a little .. trying the aged rib , 300 gm chicken and beef sausages with the amazing potato with cream and bacon … ok I may also have slipped in the beef tallow French fries whilst I wasn’t looking … Bernaise sauce . Everything came as ordered .., on time and together . My only slight criticism was that the small skillet used to serve the hassleback potato on was completely cold … why serve on a skillet if it’s not at least warmed ? 🤷‍♂️ I checked out the reviews before booking because I didn’t want to be disappointed . I was SUPER impressed with the owners response to a small number of less than positive reviews …. Rather than go on the attack and defend their view of the circumstance, the owners response to negative feedback was always that they were disappointed that THEY hadn’t met expectations of their guests and invited the complainants to contact them . A very refreshing approach . Bravo . Of course , and rightly so , 90 % of the reviews were very positive . I really enjoyed my experience and will be back next week as they prepare cured pork as an additional offering . YUM !

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor, showing great attention to detail and quality ingredients. Everything was served in a timely manner, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. It’s clear that the team takes pride in what they do, and it truly shows in both the service and the overall dining experience. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to coming back again.

Probably one of the best choices if you want to get a really good steak in the area. The portion of the food is good and the food is delicious. Prices were reasonable, and staffs were very hospitable and quite attentive 👍. Highly recommend.

Had an incredible dinner! Some mates and I decided to try the new steak place in town and we were blown away. We shared a few different steaks and a bunch of sides. Price was reasonable, including the wine which is rare for Bali. Great cocktails too. Will be back for sure. 👍
