The staff and atmosphere are excellent. On the upside, the staff were attentive and accommodating. We were celebrating our engagement and they even brought us dessert on the house. My partner was having a tough night and they were aware and checked in which I appreciate a lot. The food was extremely average. Beautifully plated but completely lacking flavour and also not cooked well. For example, the garlic fried rice was fried on low heat so it was more like cooked rice mixed with some seasoning and garlic. The pork neck was also cooked on too low of heat so the fat wasn’t rendered well and didn’t have the teppanyaki sizzle around the outside. A restaurant with a lot of potential let down by the food unfortunately. Would not recommend or come again based on food. Very overpriced and disappointed as a result.

Delicious Japanese cuisine and top-tier service! The staff were incredibly responsive and made our evening very comfortable. We were especially impressed by the beautiful cooking show—it added a special touch of magic to the dinner. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality food and vivid emotions in Canggu.

Had a really enjoyable dinner at Shichirin Canggu. The Japanese food was fresh, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. The drinks were also refreshing and paired really well with the food. I loved the relaxed atmosphere too. It feels stylish but still comfortable, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or a night out with friends. Overall, a lovely Japanese dining experience in Canggu. Definitely a place I’d come back to.

Our lunch at ShiChirin Canggu was AMAZING 🤍 Me & the kids ordered: 1. Scallops with buttermilk, orange & honey sauce - so good! 2. Aburi Almond Roll - creamy, smoky, perfect 3. Salmon Teriyaki - classic but done so well 4. Rib Eye MB5+ Medium Cooked - tender and juicy 5. Brand new menu from the Chef: Dark Breast. We’re the first ones to try it! Yey! Thank you Chef 🙏 It was incredible! The place is so cozy and comfy with a strong Japanese resto vibe. Oh and they have cocktails, mocktails, even sake too! We were so satisfied here.
