Had an amazing brunch at Red Gunpowder! The menu is a creative fusion of Indian flavors with a modern twist, and every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The quality of the ingredients really stands out, and the portions are generous. The atmosphere is stylish, cozy, and perfect for a relaxed brunch with friends or a date. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the experience even better. If you’re in Pererenan and looking for something different from the usual brunch spots, Red Gunpowder is definitely worth visiting. I’ll definitely be back!

Stunning! Absolutely impeccable. Wow. The restaurant itself is very beautifully decorated, cozy, warm, with dim lights and there was even soft live instrumental background music played in the court and streamed inside. The atmosphere is classy, elegant and romantic. Every detail in the restaurant is carefully crafted and tought. Had an indoor with Ac and outdoors. There’s no loud music and the overall feeling from also the other gusts was on the classy level. (You may not want to come here in flip flops and tank tops…) Staff is on another level: kindness, preparedness, responsiveness and attention to detail is a 5 star hotel experience. And food, wow. Usually in Bali you can find pretty restaurants but then food is mostly good for pictures.. but not here. Food was incredible. A sensory experience. I ordered chicken makan curry with rice and butter naan. I ate in silence lost in the flavours. Definitely A must visit restaurant in Pererenan . Perfect also for a romantic date.

Definitely, after trying a few Indian restaurants, Red Gunpowder is my favorite now. The food is absolutely delicious, and finally — proper, generous naan portions. The biryani presentation is simply stunning. Writing this post is literally making me drool 🤤 I also loved the design — it’s luxurious and beautifully done. From now on, if I’m craving Indian food, I’m coming only here. Just wish I had discovered this place sooner.

It wasn’t my favourite Indian cuisine, I have to be honest. I felt like the chicken korma wasn’t really good in terms of taste, and the chicken wasn’t to the standard I’d have hoped (quite fatty and gristly). The lamb kebab was good. It is a very pretty restaurant and the staff were nice, but we have another place we think are miles ahead of this place in terms of flavour, authenticity and price (Nana Sans Tandoori Indian Restaurant). Probably wouldn’t return as I wasn’t overly impressed unfortunately. I’d also like to update my review, as my boyfriend and I think that we got bali belly from here. I knew this place didn’t taste quite right.
