Had a wonderful dining experience at Pica. The paella was excellent — flavorful, well cooked, and definitely one of the highlights of our meal. What impressed us equally was the fantastic service. The team was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent hospitality. Definitely a place worth coming back to! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

such a good find in ubud!! 😭 everything we ordered was so flavorful, but the paella and empanadas were definitely the standouts 🤌 the flavors were sooo good and everything tasted really fresh. super nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and overall such a great meal. would 100% come back!

Modern yet refined atmosphere, delicious food beautifully presented, and outstanding service from the always-smiling Yuni. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. Every detail, from the ambiance to the presentation and hospitality, was thoughtfully executed. In my opinion, this restaurant is only a small step away from Michelin-star quality. Very disappointing experience – completely unacceptable pricing We had eaten at PICA two days earlier and had actually been very impressed, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, our second visit was extremely disappointing. Before coming to the restaurant, we specifically asked about the Wagyu because it had already been sold out during our previous visit. We were clearly informed in writing that the Wagyu was again unavailable and that the only steak available that evening was an Australian Bass Strait grass-fed cube roll. Nevertheless, we were charged 850,000 IDR per steak – exactly the price shown on the menu for the Australian Wagyu Ribeye MB3+. In our opinion, this is simply not acceptable. The restaurant knew perfectly well that the Wagyu was unavailable, served us a different cut of beef, and then charged us the full Wagyu price anyway. To make matters worse, both steaks contained an excessive amount of large, inedible pieces of fat. A significant part of the meat was left on the plate because it simply could not be eaten. We ordered two steaks and were charged 1.7 million IDR for them alone. For a restaurant at this price level, we expect transparency, fair pricing and significantly better quality control. What makes this particularly disappointing is that our first visit had been excellent. After this experience, however, we unfortunately cannot recommend PICA. Charging the full Wagyu price for a different, grass-fed steak of noticeably lower quality is extremely disappointing and left us feeling completely taken advantage.
