Old Man’s

• I visited Old's Man back in 2022, around the time Bali had just reopened after the pandemic. Before international tourists flooded the island again, Bali was still mostly filled with local travelers, and I honestly miss that era. It felt much more relaxed, less crowded, and Canggu had a different vibe back then. After exploring the area, my friends and I stopped by Old's Man for some food and beers. We ordered the Gochujang Wings, Chipotle Chicken Tacos, and a few beers. The Gochujang Wings were decent—juicy with a sweet and mildly spicy glaze—but nothing particularly memorable. The same goes for the Chipotle Chicken Tacos. The combination of grilled chicken, chipotle marinade, guacamole, salsa, and feta cheese worked well together, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. The beers, good company, and relaxed atmosphere were honestly the highlights of the visit. Overall, I think Old's Man is more about the vibe than the food. It's a great place to hang out after a day at the beach, grab a few drinks, and enjoy the lively Canggu atmosphere. If you're expecting a memorable dining experience, the food is good enough but probably won't be the reason you come back. For me, the memories of visiting during Bali's quieter days are what make this place special. 🍻🌴

• It was super fun! However VERY HOT! Everyone was dripping in sweat, it was unbearable but people were so drunk they didn’t care 😭 The music was all english, no reguetón for my fellow spaniards and latinos.. :( Free entrance but they took away my chewing gum :( BRING A FAN!!

• Price for food & drinks are still oke. For the food, I ordered fries, taste was so so but still oke. Parking area is huge. For bike parking cost 5k. The toilet is clean. The DJs are good. So many spots for seating. Even crowded still you will find place to seat.

• Nice spot for drinks, good happy hour deals throughout the evening. Stopped by for a few pre-dinner drinks, and to watch the sunset. Sunset view is slightly obstructed by a building along the beach, but tasty cocktails keep you happy. Nice view of surfers, slightly windier so prepare for this. Occasionally difficult to attract a server’s attention during busy periods, and quite a scene caused by the Wednesday evening beer pong competition, but enjoyable nonetheless.
