Casa Tua is hands down one of the most beautiful restaurants in Canggu. The traditional Bali-style architecture, rustic wooden decor and lush greenery create a magical, authentic atmosphere the moment you walk in. The food was absolutely incredible—everything from the rich curries and flavorful yellow rice sets to the unique bamboo-cooked dishes tasted fantastic. We paired our meal with some great local craft beers from Black Sand Brewery and finished with the delicious fried bananas and ice cream. On top of the stunning vibe and delicious food, the service was top-notch—super friendly and welcoming. If you are looking for a gorgeous setting to enjoy amazing local cuisine, this is the place!
5.0Joseph K· 2 months agoVisited Casa Tua during my recent trip to Canggu and found it to be quite a unique dining experience. The restaurant has a very strong Indonesian character, featuring a beautiful Javanese Joglo-style building that creates an authentic and traditional atmosphere. The décor is elaborate and interesting, though some guests may find certain antique pieces and ornaments a little eerie. Personally, I thought it added to the uniqueness of the place. The menu focuses on Balinese and Indonesian cuisine. The food was nicely presented and visually appealing. The taste was good, and it provided a pleasant introduction to local flavours. One of the highlights was being greeted by rabbits at the entrance. Guests can even feed them, which is a fun touch, especially for families and animal lovers. Overall, Casa Tua offers more than just a meal—it’s an experience. The traditional architecture, unique ambience, and local cuisine make it a worthwhile stop when exploring Canggu.
5.0Alan Loh· 3 months agomy brother recommended this restaurant since he just visited Bali last month, and it was one of the best decisions I made this trip. I arrived around 2:30pm and they open at 3:00pm. good thing there’s a coffee shop at the front where I bought a strawberry matcha while waiting. they even allowed me to already enter before their opening time. the seafood nasi goreng is definitely delicious and filled me to the brim. there were also cute bunnies around which added charm to the already beautiful vibe of the entire place.
5.0Robert Reimond Dohello· a month agoA romantic and warm place, there is a bunch of bunnies welcoming us at the entrance. The staffs are very friendly and we felt welcomed. :) The food was interesting to try, we had the duck, mixed seafood, corn fritters, local beers, pandan dessert. Food wasn't impressive. However, the ambiance feels straight of a romantic movie which covers up all the imperfections. You definitely need to check out the toilet, I couldn't release myself after seeing.
