  • Having dined at some of the most acclaimed tables across the globe, I don't say this lightly: Baan Tepa is easily within the top three restaurants we have ever visited. From the moment you step into the beautifully restored estate, you realize this is not just a meal, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The transition from their lush urban garden to the sleek, open kitchen sets the stage for a journey that is as educational as it is delicious. The service is nothing short of exceptional. It strikes that rare, perfect balance precision and genuine, warm hospitality. The staff possesses an intimate knowledge of every ingredient’s provenance, making you feel like an honored guest in a private home rather than a visitor in a restaurant. Chef Tam’s vision for modern Thai cuisine is transformative. The depth of flavor, the focus on sustainable sourcing, and the masterful play of textures. Each course is a testament to Thailand’s rich culinary heritage. If you are a traveler who seeks out the pinnacle of gastronomy, Baan Tepa is a non-negotiable destination. It is a rare gem that manages to exceed even the loftiest expectations. An absolute masterclass in fine dining.

  • At Baan Tepa, Chudaree Debhakam (Chef Tam) brings formidable technical pedigree and creative clarity to the table. Trained at the International Culinary Center in New York and polished in Michelin-starred kitchens in the United States, she blends classical French rigor with a contemporary tasting-menu approach. Her cuisine is grounded in seasonality, fermentation, zero-waste philosophy, and meticulous flavor construction. The result is a bold yet refined expression of modern Thai gastronomy. Precise, beautifully presented, and deeply anchored in local produce. Impeccable. Service is equally accomplished: the team is warm and attentive, and Marco, the sommelier, distinguishes himself with both technical expertise and genuine joy. All you want from FOH. Two Michelin stars very well deserved. Strongly, strongly recommended.

  • As you pull up into the driveway you are immediately transported to a world outside the city. Lucky to eat here in this space right before they undergo renovations. The service was on point, the staff toward us along the property and was very knowledgeable about what was being served for the evening. The space and the decor were very fitting to the meal into the two stars the restaurant has. The food was very Thai and kept through to the local flavors. The ingredients were still the stars, not being overpowered by the sauces they came with. This is definitely a place I would love to come back to.

  • This restaurant offers authentic Thai flavors presented through a refined fine-dining approach. The dishes may not resemble traditional Thai food in appearance, as each plate is thoughtfully crafted with an elegant, modern presentation. However, the taste remains deeply rooted in Thai culinary heritage, using carefully selected local ingredients and precise techniques. Everything I tried was beautifully executed and full of balanced, expressive flavors. The service was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. This was my second visit, and it definitely won’t be my last.
