This famous noodle shop in Bangkok is well known for its 50-year-old simmering broth, which has attracted countless visitors from around the world. At first, I was a bit hesitant because I mostly saw tourists lining up to try it, and I wasn’t sure if it was genuinely good or just popular because of social media. After trying it, I completely understood why it’s so famous. The broth was incredibly rich, flavorful, and aromatic. You can really taste the depth that comes from years of continuously simmering the stock. Whatever their secret recipe is, they’ve created a broth that is truly unique and absolutely delicious. If you’re visiting Bangkok, I think this is definitely a place worth experiencing, especially if you enjoy traditional noodle soup with a rich and distinctive flavor.
5.0Lee Thinh· 2 months agoAMAZING broth and beef noodles! Ordered beed noodles and the goat stew, both of them are delicious! Beef was tender, and the broth kicks in hard! Noodles were soft and chewy, love the texture. Goat stew with the chinese herbs was warm and satisfying. Place is not the nicest, but great for a quick dine and out.
5.0jkus eats· 3 months agoFinally came to try the legendary eternal Beef broth. Surprised there was no queue on a Wednesday morning (11am). Is fact the shop was almost empty. The food was quite good. The stewed beef was tender and flavourful and the fresh beef was well seasoned. Beef ball looks nicer than it tasted but was still ok.
4.0Jeffrey C· 2 months agoThis restaurant has been around for decades, and you can really taste the history. The iconic massive iron pot of beef broth never stops simmering, creating an incredibly deep and rich flavour. The meat is so tender it falls apart, and the lamb is equally outstanding — juicy and full of flavour. Simple, no-frills setting, but the taste is outstanding. Great value too. If you’re looking for authentic, soul-warming Chinese-Thai style beef or lamb noodles, this is a must-visit place!
