  • An unforgettable dining experience at 80/20. On behalf of Khun Hai from YPO, I would like to express our deepest appreciation to the entire team for delivering one of the most exceptional dining experiences we’ve ever had. Every dish was nothing short of a masterpiece—beautifully presented, incredibly creative, and bursting with unforgettable flavors. Each course showcased remarkable craftsmanship and passion, making the entire journey exciting from beginning to end. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the outstanding hospitality. A heartfelt thank you to Jack, Keaw, Ice, and Pao, whose warmth, professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel like honored guests throughout the night. Their seamless service, thoughtful recommendations, and sincere smiles transformed an amazing meal into a truly memorable experience. 80/20 is far more than a Michelin-starred restaurant—it is a destination where culinary artistry and world-class hospitality come together perfectly. Without a doubt, this is one of Bangkok’s finest dining experiences, and we cannot wait to return. Highly, highly recommended!

  • Exceptional culinary highlights, but service and especially dessert let it down We had a highly anticipated dinner at 80/20. While the evening truly shined in parts, a few noticeable misses kept it from being a flawless, high-caliber experience. The food quality was quite good, showcasing precise techniques and thoughtful profiles. The amuse-bouche was an absolute highlight — each bite was unique and impressive. The seabass was another memorable standout. While minor variations between courses are understandable given personal tastes, the ceviche suffered from a severe imbalance. Thai curries are expected to be spicy, but the heat shouldn't overshadow the entire dish. Unfortunately, this course delivered a monotone, overwhelming burn that lingered for minutes, though the remaining curry-based dishes were beautifully balanced and complex. The end of the meal is where the kitchen lost momentum. The palate cleanser lacked a vibrant, sharp zing and needed to be served colder. As for the dessert, it just felt like an afterthought. It was quite bland, didn't really make sense, and lacked any punchy flavors. Frankly, it left us wondering: when exactly was this cake baked? The hospitality could also use a bit of refinement to match the experience. Despite a warm and cozy atmosphere, the service felt somewhat cold and detached. We didn't quite get that welcoming feeling you expect at this level. After our final course, the staff stopped checking in, and after waiting for a few awkward minutes, we had to actively struggle just to flag someone down to get the bill. A restaurant of this caliber needs service that is a bit more attentive and proactive than just a regular mall restaurant. A beautiful venue with great potential, but the front-of-house and dessert need to step up to match the price point.

  • The Good: Service was attentive and excellent. The sommelier was also knowledgeable and skilled, lighting a candle to look for sediment in the bottle while pouring into the decanter. The Not So Good: While the presentation was good, the flavours went well, and the use of local ingredients was interesting, many if not most of the dishes were spicy (bordering on very spicy). This should have been stated explicitly on the website or in correspondence during reservation and paying the deposit. One of our group was not able to take spicy food, and even those that did found the heat a little too much to take.

  • 80/20 is honestly an absolute gem. Every dish felt like a real discovery 👏🏼 thoughtful, creative, and full of surprising flavors that just work beautifully together. Chef Thav and the team have created something really special here. Beyond the food, the service was just as impressive 🙏🏼 warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they’re doing, which makes the whole experience even better. Already thinking about my next visit… can’t wait to be back in Bangkok to try it all over again. Highly recommend✨
