We’re from San Diego, and after spending two months in Indonesia, we were definitely starting to miss some of our favorite Mexican food. We decided to give this place a try, and we’re so glad we did! The fish burrito was really good. Coming from San Diego, our standards for Mexican food are pretty high, but this definitely hit the spot and was absolutely worth it if you’re craving seafood Mexican food. Make sure to ask for the salsa, it’s also not spicy.. spicier option would be nice. The shrimp quesadilla was also delicious, and the spicy mango margarita was excellent. We also showed the staff a photo of a simple BRC (beans, rice, and cheese) burrito for our kids, even though it wasn’t on the menu. They were kind enough to accommodate us, which we really appreciated. It was made with white rice instead of the traditional style, but our kids loved it, and that’s what mattered most. We’re so happy we found this place and will definitely be back to try more of the menu. If I’m not mistaken, I believe they also have a few restaurants in Hawaii. Thanks for a great meal! Bonus, it has a kids play area!
5.0Aly Richards· 2 months agoHad a really good night at Ulu Fish Market. The whole place has a great atmosphere — relaxed but still lively, with a really cool open-air setup and nice lighting at night. Definitely one of those spots that feels good as soon as you walk in. The food was excellent, especially the sushi and tuna dishes. Everything tasted super fresh and the presentation was really well done. The tuna tartare with the crispy chips was a standout, and the sushi roll were packed with flavour. We also tried the chicken burrito which was simple but really tasty. Drinks were good, service was friendly and the overall vibe made us stay longer than planned. It’s a bit more premium than some places around Uluwatu, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth it. Definitely a great spot for dinner and drinks if you’re in the area.
5.0dylan beeby· 4 months agoThis is probably one of our fave restau in Ulus. And to be honest our go-to dinner spot, esp with friends! You can not go wrong here. Food is fairly priced, servings are massive, service is really quick too. Their pasta is amazing and really big serving, and their rolls have so much flavor too!! And every Sunday or so they have live music. The only thing is the place is always packed so if you go big group, do a reservation. Because theyre always booked out. Anyway, cant say enough how good it is here esp the sushis.
5.0Lhuella Chalize Gonzales· 4 months ago🐟 Ulu Fish Market absolutely lived up to the hype! This was one of my favorite dinner spots in Uluwatu, and it's easy to see why. If you're planning to come for dinner, make a reservation. The restaurant was completely full within about 20 minutes, and there was a steady line of people hoping to get a table. The atmosphere is lively and energetic without feeling overwhelming, making it a great place for dinner with friends or a date night. 🍣 The seafood was incredibly fresh, and everything tasted like high-quality ingredients. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, and I was impressed with how quickly everything came out, especially considering how packed the restaurant was. 🍸 The espresso martini was fantastic. I loved it so much I ended up ordering two. 🍣 The poke roll was good, but it wasn't my favorite. The real standouts were the salmon rolls. Every salmon dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and easily the highlight of the meal. 🦀 The only dish I probably wouldn't order again was the crab bites. They were sweeter than I expected, and the flavor just wasn't for me. Overall, Ulu Fish Market combines fresh seafood, fast service, excellent cocktails, and a fun atmosphere into a great dining experience. It's absolutely worth adding to your Uluwatu itinerary, especially if you're a sushi and seafood lover. I'll definitely be back! 🌊✨
