We came here twice during our stay in Uluwatu for brunch. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service is wonderful, especially our lovely waitress Jenni who accommodated us even on a busy weekend morning. Our coffees were among the best we’ve had on the island and the food was all extremely fresh and tasty. The fruit salad was a standout, the chia pudding was amazing! There are some reviews that the cafe gets quite busy, we didn’t find it too bad but maybe try coming earlier on a weekend if you are concerned. We would really recommend this for brekkie or lunch, you will not regret it.
5.0Fran Herro· 2 months agoWent here for dinner with boyf and friends. My bf kept telling me thay their Chicken Teriyaki is amazing, but I’m not a fan of it generally. So it took us so long before going there, but this time I tried it at this place and omyghad it was amazing. I wish I had gone sooner!! We were always here before but mainly for parties. But damn the food is so gooood!!! We also got Korean Chicken and also amazing. One caveat tho, the Butter Chicken is alright. Wouldn’t get it again, but anyway it’s not an Indian place so it’s okay. But MUST try is their Chicken Teriyaki! We’ll probably go back soon because I’m craving for it. Yes it’s that good haha!! Also the food came very quick! Probably around 10mins. Will recommend this place for sure!!
5.0Lhuella Chalize Gonzales· 3 months ago🌿 Cashew Tree was one of my biggest surprises in Uluwatu! I originally came on a Wednesday night for the live music and fun atmosphere, and had no idea they served such incredible food during the day. After enjoying the evening vibes, I came back on Saturday around 2 PM with a group of five and had no trouble getting a table. The outdoor seating is beautiful, surrounded by greenery with a relaxed, tropical feel that makes you want to stay for hours. It's the perfect spot to catch up with friends over lunch. 🥗 I ordered the Cashew Tree Bowl, and it ended up being one of my favorite healthy lunches on the island. The chicken was incredibly tender and cooked perfectly, the crispy chickpeas added the best crunch, and the avocado tied everything together. Every bite felt fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. 🥤 I also had the Protein Banana Smoothie, which was thick, naturally sweet, and a great pairing with the bowl. 🍛 We also tried the Butter Chicken. It was just okay and I wished the curry had a bit more flavor, but the warm, fluffy naan that came with it was absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of that dish. If you're only thinking of Cashew Tree as a nighttime spot for music and drinks, you're missing out. Their daytime menu is fantastic, especially if you're looking for fresh, healthy food in a laid-back setting. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I'm in Uluwatu! 🌴☀️
5.0Plate Cleaner Club· 2 months agoWe visited The Cashew Tree twice during our stay and overall had a really positive experience. The first time was for a late dinner, and it was fantastic. The restaurant was fairly quiet, the staff were attentive, and the food was delicious. I had the beef curry, which was packed with flavour. The beef was a little chewy in places, but it was still a really enjoyable meal. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the next morning for breakfast to try some of the healthy options. Unfortunately, it was extremely busy, likely due to the gym and fitness classes next door, and the staff were clearly working incredibly hard to keep up with the demand. We waited quite a long time for our food and drinks and had to check in a couple of times, especially as other tables that arrived after us were being served first. We were also checking out that morning and had left what we thought was plenty of time for breakfast, but we hadn't accounted for just how busy it would be. That said, once the food arrived, it was excellent. I had the fruit bowl with chia seeds, which was exactly what I was craving. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, nuts, and beautifully presented. The smoothies were incredible too, and there are so many tempting options on the menu that you're definitely spoilt for choice. The food here is genuinely amazing, and while the service struggled during peak breakfast hours, it was clear the team were doing their absolute best under a lot of pressure. It's easy to see why the place is so popular. I would highly recommend visiting, especially if you can go during a quieter time.
