Alma Tapas Bar

• I went to Alma Tapas Bar in Bingin and had an amazing experience. The place is beautiful, with a very pleasant, cozy atmosphere the kind of place you arrive at and immediately feel like staying. The food was excellent. I ordered the tortilla española, which was very well made, flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also tried the Choco Loco smoothie, which was delicious. One detail I really appreciated was the complimentary Jamu drink, a traditional Indonesian beverage. The service made all the difference: the staff were always smiling, attentive and caring, always available when needed. It’s definitely a place worth visiting in Uluwatu, both for the quality of the food and the overall experience. I would definitely come back 🤍

• We came here hoping for something truly special. Given the prices, we assumed the food would match: exceptional quality, memorable flavors, the kind of meal you talk about afterwards. Unfortunately, we left a bit disappointed. To be fair, some things were good. The wagyu beef was nicely done and the chicken was decent. But the rest of the meal didn't live up to expectations. The "paella" (rice with squid and octopus) turned out to contain just a single octopus tentacle, and it was rubbery. The dish as a whole lacked flavor and felt underwhelming for what it was meant to be. The fried calamari were tasty, but also slightly rubbery, and the meat kept sliding right out of the breading every time we picked a piece up. Then came the crème brûlée, which was easily the biggest letdown. Mostly what came through was the cream itself. It wasn't sweet enough, there was barely any vanilla, and overall it just tasted bland. For a dessert that's usually a showstopper, this one was forgettable. I probably won't be coming back. The food wasn't bad, but at this price point I was simply expecting more.

• We tried about 7 different things on the menu and every dish was incredible. The chicken wings were so good that we ended up ordering them a second time. They were absolutely delicious and easily the star of the meal! Every plate was packed with flavour, beautifully presented, and you could tell a lot of care goes into the food here. OMG, we will definitely be back. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Bali. Truly the best of the best! ❤️🍗🍸✨

• This restaurant is amazing! Everything was perfect. Service 10 out of 10, such a good attention, all dishes were explained when brought to the table, very kind and careful. Food is a solid experience, so tasteful. The mushroom croquetas although were kind of missing the mushroom taste. But quality is extraordinary. The tartar is the best I have ever had! The cocktails are incredible mixed and flavours are so good. Best of all, the mezcal mule. And what about the dessert! The cheesecake texture is the best I had in bali. I recommend it 1000% and definitely Alma has become my favourite restaurant in Bali. Thanks Alma team :D
