Nectar Specialty Coffee & Viennoiserie

• We ordered two very different dishes, and both absolutely hit the mark. Chicken Fried Rice: This was a comforting, flavour-packed bowl done right. The rice was well-seasoned with a great savoury depth, and the chicken was tender and evenly mixed through. The fried egg on top added a rich, creamy texture once mixed in, taking it to another level. The fresh vegetables gave it colour and crunch, and the prawn crackers on the side were a great crispy contrast. It’s the kind of dish that’s simple but incredibly satisfying. Big Breakfast Plate: This plate was hearty and generous. The scrambled eggs were creamy and soft, clearly cooked with care. The ham was nicely seared, adding a smoky, salty balance. The sautéed mushrooms were juicy and full of flavour, and the baked beans brought that classic sweet-savory element. The roasted tomato added freshness, and the croissant was buttery, flaky, and the perfect addition to round everything out. It’s a proper brunch option that leaves you full and happy. Overall, both dishes delivered on flavour, portion size, and presentation. One perfect for a comforting rice craving, the other ideal for a satisfying brunch. Would happily order both again.

• This is exactly the moment when the reviews about the restaurant are completely different from what it actually is. It's a fantastic place, very quiet, cozy, pleasant, super delicious coffee, believe me, I'm an expert, excellent breakfasts at a good price, and very polite, friendly staff.

• This is a good place for having breakfast inside with the aircon if outside is too hot, it's chill and cool. The decoration and atmosphere is great if you are a fan of minimalism and european design. Now about the food, the croissants are delicious, really tasty and with plenty of filling, the pastry is very french style. The tuna sandwich on the other hand was very dissapointing, it was mostly lettuce with very little tuna and mayo. The tea was nice. The staff was very friendly

• We were not expecting much from Nectar as it is seemingly one in a billion non-descript cafe bakeries in Bali. The location being quite a ways from where you’d expect anything to be of this quality. But there it is: Nectar is by far best in class for cafes and bakeries on the island. Everything pictured was better than anything you could get at any stand-alone coffee shop, bakery, or cafe. The white coffees was literally the best on the island. After inquiry, the beans are blended and roasted by Ijen Lestari especially for oatmilk. The pourover beans on offer were from Espresso Embassy another top Indo purveyor. We were floored by the quality and had multiple cups. The breakfast with croissant et al were well-cooked, well-seasoned and portions were ample. The eggs were creamy fluffy soft and just spot on. The croissants were yeasty toasty buttery soft flaky light and moist. I mean we could not think of another place on the island that even did these two things right let alone so very good. After our second cup we decided to try the dessert and to our surprise it was of very high quality ingredients with good execution. 3 out of 3 for the food and drinks and not just good but excellent in quality flavor and execution. It’s on our destination list for anytime we’re even within a 15km radius. Applaud the owners for being meticulous about every aspect of their products. It’s a breath of fresh air in a market so congested with frankly places that shine shit jist because tourists aren’t repeat customers.
