Sorn was an incredible experience from start to finish. Not only was the food exceptional, but every dish was thoughtfully crafted, unique, and truly stood out. Each course felt like a journey, with so much attention to detail and creativity behind every bite. Despite arriving over 30 minutes late due to unexpectedly heavy traffic, the team at Sorn was incredibly understanding and seated us promptly, which we greatly appreciated. Having looked forward to dining at Sorn for months, it was such a relief to still have the full experience we had hoped for. The service and ambiance were equally impressive. We were seated in a private room near the entrance, which provided a wonderful sense of comfort and privacy. The staff were patient, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. Each dish was explained with such elegance and care, adding even more appreciation to the meal. By the end of the evening, we were beyond satisfied. Sorn’s hospitality was truly exceptional — they even kindly offered us a ride on their golf cart to our next nearby destination , a thoughtful gesture that perfectly reflected their level of care and attention. Sorn was a 10/10 experience and easily one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had. This is a restaurant that cannot be missed when visiting Bangkok and one that we will remember forever :)

A 3-Michelin star that truly lives up to its expectations, Sorn is a journey through Southern Thailand that delivers Thai’s vibrant, diverse ingredients and flavours through modern, elevated cooking. Some standout dishes include ‘The Ocean’ - a trio of Blue Crab, Phuket Lobster and Spotted Babylon where the original flavours of the sea shine through. ‘Melinjo’, a coconut soup with dried shrimp and squid has one of the most incredible flavours enhanced by natural sweetness of the coconut. End of the meal was marked by the dessert trolley displaying a beautiful array of local Thai desserts, though the star of the show was the salted butter Thai madeleines - elevating a favorite childhood snack to perfection.

Book and pay in advance to have some chili, chili paste and more chili🫣 mid ingredient except the prawn. The top 1 star review is absolutely right. Almost everything was unnecessary spicy for what exactly???? Everyone on our table was dying but tried to enjoy dinner together. Service was great as expected but why serve us rice with dessert spoon size🤣 just take a look at the picture. It was recommended to have just a little rice to taste the shared main dishes (How can we eat little rice when everything super spicy???? Does it make sense?) Main course felt like a rush. All the food came out to put everything on the full table made it feel overwhelming and literally none of us remember what to taste in order because of information overloaded. For the hype and the price they set we expected better but what we got was spicy and spicy only. I’m Thai from the south myself can handle spicy but this spicy level is something else it made my foreigner bf stop eating middle of the meal and now we’re staying up at night cause got spicy stomach. Thanks a lot! Just my personal opinion

Having experienced multiple 1 and 2 star restaurants, we can say with confidence that Sorn was our most memorable dining experience to date. The set menu is full of surprises and the presentation is immaculate from start to finish. The atmosphere was hospitable, not pretentious, and the building is laid out so that every table gets their own private dining experience. What stood out most was the service: every single staff member was warm and personable. The sommelier, Pom, was excellent. We opted for the 9 wine pairing, and we were impressed by many of the pairing choices: red wine with seafood and dessert wine early in the night kept things interesting and delicious. The progression of the wines complemented the courses beautifully — it was clear great care was put into planning and coordinating each transition. If you love seafood and love spice, you’ve come to the right place: the way they play with flavors, textures, and lingering spices is pure art. The portions will be more than enough to satisfy. The experience you get is worth every penny — we are already planning our return.
