- There is rather a LOT of talking throughout the experience. Everything is explained to you in detail. - Dishes themed from India had a strong emphasis on sour flavors. - Only a few (grape in the sand, mochi ice cream, glow in the dark brain) were really novel/unique/extremely tasty. The food here is more a novelty than really delicious. The service is excellent and the personalized touches are nice (like the menu you receive at the end).
3.0Karen· 5 months agoStraight up 5-star for me. Some fine dining restaurants you don't even get to see the chef but the concept that Chef Gaggan stood there for 4hours to tell his story (in a candid stand up comedy talk show style) and explains his dishes is just brilliant. It feels like we know not just the story behind the dish, but the story behind Chef Gaggan. Lots of effort in putting this together, thinking back about his journey and life experiences into his new creations. No phone is such a good idea because people like me can stop feeding my phone with memories but my palate and visuals. Food and wine pairing was nothing but amazing. All 22 courses were beautifully crafted and taste soooo good. Of course the explanations by Chef about how he sourced and cooked the food helps alot. the last part of the dining (no spoilers) was unexpected but really...is there even a good time for it? who says you can't do it in a fine dining setting 🤭
5.0Jie Ning Lee· 2 months agoBest experience ever!!! The food, the performance, the music.. I highly recommend it ❤️ I want to hire Raul for my company. I’m pretty sure he’d be amazing at any job. His charisma made the experience even more special. The whole team was polite and professional. Fabio was also very nice!! GREAT EXPERIENCE
5.0Julia Sarmento· 5 months agoThe dinner felt more theatrical and intimate than I had expected. I understand that there is a strong concept behind the restaurant, but I do think this style of experience would benefit from being made clearer in advance, as it may not suit every diner. I arrived expecting a good meal in a more conventional sense, and instead found myself in a format that felt far more immersive and directed than I had anticipated. The overall atmosphere also did not fully resonate with me. At times, it felt as though guests were being asked to engage with the restaurant on very specific terms, rather than being allowed to settle into the experience naturally and at their own pace. For me, the concept ultimately overshadowed the food. The evening seemed more centered on theater, interaction, and staging than on the cooking itself. Unfortunately, I did not feel that the food was strong enough to balance that emphasis. Rather than the concept enhancing the meal, it sometimes felt as though the meal was there mainly to support the concept. Overall, I found the experience highly stylized and very deliberate, but not especially satisfying from a culinary perspective. I can understand why some diners may enjoy this format, but for me it was not the right fit.
