I’m usually pretty anti-Western food when traveling in Asia—partly because it feels like a lingering trace of colonialism, and partly because “fusion” often just feels like a buzzword these days. But for my last night in Bali, I checked into Kleo and found a 15% off card for hotel guests in my room. With an early flight ahead, I didn’t want to brave the streets; I just wanted to be comfortable. So, I gave it a shot. The prices were slightly higher than local spots, which I expected. But happy hour made the 80k glasses of wine a good deal. I ordered the ink spaghetti, grilled tiger prawns, and finished with a passion fruit sorbet. Honestly, I’m glad I decided to dine in. The food was incredible—I especially loved the seaweed butter, garlic bread, and seaweed crackers. The attention to detail really impressed me, too. Each glass of wine came with a little palate refresher, and after the prawns, they brought out a fresh cold towel to wipe my hands. Such a thoughtful touch! I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fine-dining experience without the stuffiness—just chilled vibes, peaceful seclusion, and the soothing soundtrack of nature and waves in the background.
5.0纪健· 2 weeks agoBonito has recently moved to a beautiful rooftop location in Seminyak, above Zia Tina, and the food was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and delicious, with a creative, modern European style. We tried the raw cuttlefish with burrata, ceviche, grilled king prawns, seafood ravioli, and the bread with seaweed butter—which was especially good. The cocktails were excellent too. I had their twist on an Aperol Spritz, and honestly, it was even better than the original! A fantastic rooftop setting, beautifully prepared seafood, and genuinely memorable flavours. I highly recommend Bonito and will definitely be back.
5.0Alanta· a month agoAbsolutely incredible dining experience. We chose the tasting menu with the wine pairing, and every course felt thoughtfully crafted and perfectly timed. The seafood was exceptionally fresh, the flavors were balanced and creative without being overwhelming, and each wine pairing elevated the dishes beautifully. What really stood out was how the entire experience felt elevated yet relaxed. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food and wine they were serving. Every detail—from presentation to service—made the evening feel special. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner in Bali, this is the kind of place you’ll still be talking about days later. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in Canggu. Highly recommend the tasting menu and wine pairing for the full experience.
5.0Alysia Schweda· 3 months agoSuper Super delicious! it reminds me of all memories in Naples ( which I also think one restaurant marvelous), and bonito even more special. I love the Cavatelli and Squid Ink Spaghetti most, and my mom feels most amazing one is the red snapper. All good I would say again, also the chef is extremely kind , he also recommended some coffee shop and restaurants based on where I’ll go. Literally we had a spectacular dinner here. Love it! (one thing need to improve might be getting rid of few flys)
