  This morning, I sit on a wide veranda with a book, a warm cup of dark coffee, and a smile. A woman wearing traditional Balinese clothing kneels at the small temple, offering flowers and waving burning incense in rhythmic circles. Motorbikes hum on the road below as the island awakens gently. Smoke rises from the kitchen as the cook fans a sweet-smelling flame. Incredible staff make you feel like family. Involved owner. Great Balinese food, a cooking school, a creative space, and a small, comfortable inn.

  Art Cafe Bumbu Bali has been our favourite restaurant so far, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking delicious, authentic Balinese cuisine. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up visiting every evening during our stay in Nusa Dua - and we already can’t wait to return on our next trip! The staff were incredibly accommodating, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. Every aspect - the food, the atmosphere, and the overall experience - was exceptional. This is truly a fantastic restaurant, and the shrimp were the best we’ve ever had. If you’re staying in the area, this is an absolute must-visit!

  When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, and the service remained excellent when we placed our order. I ordered a turmeric herbal drink with temulawak—unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo because I was too excited to try it! The food was amazing. The portions were very generous compared to the price. The flavors were delicious—truly Balinese-style seasoning. It might not be as intense as some local warung-style Bumbu Bali dishes, slightly toned down, but still very well-balanced and savory—absolutely yummy. The place itself is also beautiful. Everything was perfect. If there were 6 stars, I would give it 6 stars 😄

  Art Cafe – A Relaxed Spot with Local Charm Art Cafe in Nusa Dua is a pleasant place to stop if you’re looking for a casual meal in a relaxed setting. The atmosphere is simple and comfortable, with open-air seating that lets you enjoy the warm Bali breeze. It’s not overly fancy, but it has a laid-back charm that fits well with the area. The menu offers a mix of Indonesian dishes, giving plenty of options if you’re craving local flavors. The nasi campur was flavorful and nicely big portioned, and the satay had a good balance of seasoning and tenderness. Pork skewer was superb. Presentation was super and very appetizing. The Pisang goreng with vanilla ice cream is a must! Service was friendly and welcoming. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and offer recommendations. Prices are fair for Nusa Dua, especially considering the portion sizes. It’s a comfortable choice for lunch or dinner after exploring the area or spending the day at the beach. Overall, Art Cafe delivers solid food, friendly service, and a relaxed atmosphere—an enjoyable dining option while staying in Nusa Dua
